Vik has never pickled a sheep, he's not weird, he doesn't network in the right circles, doesn't have pots
of money and most importantly doesn't produce rubbish art work to shock. Hence he will most likely remain an "Outsider"
to the art world, an unknown until pushing up daisies.
Most modern art work which gets media attention in the UK is disapointing to say the least. For contemporary
art it seems you can sell anything with flowers in it, pet portraits or go to the other extreme by producing
something so bizarre it's laughable but cost a fortune, anything in between is rare and walked over. Trod down nice and firmly.
Good to know the British Art world is consistant isn't it ! Now

"Beachscape 3"
"Outsider" is a term used to describe an untrained,
unqualified, unknown, not full time artist who produces a volume of prolific work consistantly over many years yet remains
undiscovered - I feel it describes me well.
This site offers a brief look at some of the work I have produced spanning 20 or so years. It is the
tip of a very large iceberg to coin a phrase.
I hope to show my work in a gallery again some day if the opportunity comes along. Imagine listening
to your favourite song on a cd then going to see the singer perform live in concert, well seeing a real work
of art on a wall before your very eyes in the same sensation but for now this is the best I can offer. My thanks for
your time.
I believe in a down to earth approach to my work, look and enjoy, no
hidden agendas or messages - quality contemporary paintings from a British Artist, I hope you will appreciate the work.
